We went from knowing not one thing to being able to embroider on shirts and even make patches. She was very patient and understanding and it only took two classes. She allows her clients to text her even after the two calls with any questions as well as send us the links for the things we needed to purchase. I recommend this class to anyone starting out. I came across Janelle’s Tiktok videos one day, she had posted about embroidery classes and that her class were going on sale for a limited time. I knew in that moment it was worth looking into. I paid for the courses and scheduled the dates. I can’t speak highly enough of Janelle, she is a true mentor, her teaching style is patient and humble. Janelle starts with the basics which is crucial to embroidery. As a sewist I thought eh its a fancy sewing machine. Its not at all and thread weight matters and testing your tension is everything. She is an incredible teacher and really taught me the fundamental skills to embroidery.
